DKP (how it will be handed out)

Ok, i'll list the things you'll get awarded DKP for first:
5 dkp for signing to a raid
20 dkp for a first time kill
10 dkp for a boss not on farm mode
5 dkp for a farm boss
5 dkp for arriving to the raid prepared and on-time
5dkp for an hour of raiding
For a boss to be on farm, it must be slain 3 times.

And the things you want to avoid
minus DKP for the following
[/list] -10dkp for arriving late or unprepared
-15dkp for being a idiot during the raid (e.g. being annoying, spamming)
-10dkp for going afk without giving notice


BoE loots will be bidded for with DKP, therefor you must have the DKP to buy an item e.g. you can't bid 100 dkp if you only have 20. To win an item you must out-bid opponent in a bid-off, e.g. Swadb bids 10 dkp, Urborg bids 15, Swadb bids 20, and the list continues, or if you both have 100 dkp, and you both bid this the person who bidded 100 DKP first Or, if there isn't much time difference in the bids, for example if one person takes the piss, and waits 1 min to bid there 100dkp, they will obviously lose, else there will be roll, (/roll) the highest roll will win and will be awarded the item in exchange for there 100dkp, if you bid and lose, you wont get DKP taken from you, so dont panic

This systems will be being used because in my opinion is the best way to dish loot out, as for the people who raid with us the most get the items they most surely deserve, so if you dont get an item, just wait it'll be your turn soon to get an item or two.
If you have any suggestions about things you should get DKP for i'm happy to hear it, or your ideas of why people should get DKP taken from them.

Hello from greece...Dkp is a really great idea :)bthis way everybody can take what he/she wants:)and not by luck...but by raiding

All tonights raiders will get 50 to start off I think ^^

Be carefull that ppl that don't raid so much won't get hurt by this system.
(Example) Maybe some hardcore people can raid all of your raids, but some that show
up maybe 1-2 days a week, will be outrated by alts of main players, ending up
with 1000000 dkp (ofc not but still an example) and will use it on alts when main fully
geared. If it comes to that, I think main char get gear, no matter how much other got
of dkp.
Also don't forget to reset when WOTLK comes out.

This can also be avoided by weekly or monthly raid penalty, such as all get - (x)

Saridon, The other officers and i have discussed this and have found it to be quite a serious issue that may arise. However we have already decided that even if an alt does have more DKP the main will get it due to the fact the alt will not be coming to progression raids and the main will obviously need it more for that character and the benfit of the guild, thank you for your concern i hope this has helped.
